Have you ever woke up from a dream you didn’t want to leave?
Just because you slant yourself body just a little too far to the left,
You left that world and fell back into reality.
Realizing you can’t go back can feel like pure,
Ironically as we lie,
We’d rather live the lie in the sky,
Than to touch the truth with our own two feet.
I’ll try to go back to sleep, knowing I’ll never return to that unique,
And when I wake, fully rested,
I’ll face the real world at my own pace.
